About Us

Virginia Peninsula Rugby Foundation is a non-profit  501(c)3 organization that supports the rugby on the peninsula in the Hampton Roads area.  The foundation established an anti-gang initiative that supports high school age males and females throughout the peninsula cities which include:  Newport News, Hampton, York County and Poquoson. The foundation provides financial support to high school rugby programs.

Rugby is the largest club sport in America with over 60,000 participants.  The Peninsula teams play in Rugby Virginia league, which is one of the fastest growing high school divisions in the country.  Rugby Virginia is a member of the national governing rugby organization, USA Rugby.  The Peninsula League consists of 6 boys and 4 girls U19 teams.
